Each drum mag comes with a standard set of foley actions including:

Grab Hard and Soft both Gloved and Ungloved (Volume 1)
Insert and removal both empty and loaded.
We’ve also Included a few bonus samples for partially-loaded drums that had an audible difference in them. (Not all drums had an audible difference when partial, empty or full).

Modern Drum Mags

Building on what we learned from our first release, we added two more shotgun drum magazines to capture the resonance we loved, along with another 7.62×51 drum magazine. For Modern Drum Mags Volume 2, we’ve selected a broad range of drum magazines for different firearms.

MICROPHONES OPTIONS

Modern Drum Mags — Volume 1

Give every movement weight and character. Each sound in Volume 1 was recorded at 192 kHz using Neumann KMR 81i microphones for a warm foundation, a stereo pair of Sennheiser MKH 8050s for crisp detail, and a Sanken CO-100k for ultrasonic detail. Together, they give you plenty to work with when layering, processing, or pitching sounds down.

Modern Drum Mags — Volume 2

More drum magazines, more sonic possibilities. Volume 2 builds on the first release with the resonance of two additional shotgun drum magazines and another 7.62×51 drum magazine. Every sound was captured at 192 kHz with Neumann KMR 81i microphones, a stereo pair of Sennheiser MKH 8050s, and two Sanken CO-100ks for even more detail and flexibility in your sound design.

MASTER GUN EXTENSION

This sound effects library is meant to be a small extension to any of our core Master Gun libraries included within Master Gun Armory Bundle. We used very similar recording techniques to our other weapon libraries, so you can seamlessly layer any of these drum mag recordings with any weapon from our Master Gun collection.

Metadata

One of the most powerful features included in the Modern Drum Mags library is its extensive metadata and tagging. Every single field has been filled out. Every library is compatible with all major sound library management software including Sound Miner, Baeshead, Soundly, etc.

To take advantage of all the metadata features we do recommend using Sound Miner.
