Modern Drum Mags

Aftertouch Audio presents, Modern Drum Mags, a foley extension to our Master Gun series giving your Semi-auto shotguns, Auto pistols, SMGs, and Rifles more firepower by equipping them with a drum mag. Drum Mags include 12g, 5.56×45, 7.62×39 Plastic, 7.62×39 Metal, 308, and 9×19.

This library contains 100% new samples not pulled from any other library.

EXTEND YOUR WEAPONS

Need more firepower? Try equipping your weapons with an alternate magazine type and enter the world of drum magazines.

Each drum mag comes with a standard set of foley actions including:

Grab Hard and Soft gloved and ungloved.
Insert and removal empty and loaded.
Included a few bonus samples partially-loaded to the drums that had an audible difference in them. (Not all drums had an audible difference when partial or full).

MICROPHONES

Each recording in the Modern Drum Mags library has been sampled with 3 sets of microphones to give you a complete frequency spectrum including ultrasonic frequencies.

Neumann KRM 81i mts as the foundation due to their warm bottom-end.
Stereo set of bright Sennheiser MKH 8050s.
Sanken CO-100k to capture all the ultrasonic frequencies produced by these drum mags which allows you to take full advantage of the 192kHz recordings. Pitch any of these sounds down to make them larger without losing any of the fidelity.

MASTER GUN EXTENSION

This sound effects library is meant to be a small extension to any of our core Master Gun libraries included within Master Gun Armoury Bundle. We used very similar recording techniques to our other weapon libraries, so you can seamlessly layer any of these drum mag recordings with any weapon from our Master Gun collection.

Metadata

One of the most powerful features included in the Modern Drum Mags library is its extensive metadata and tagging. Every single field has been filled out. Every library is compatible with all major sound library management software including Sound Miner, Baeshead, Soundly, etc.

To take advantage of all the metadata features we do recommend using Sound Miner.
