The Master Gun CZ Scorpion EVO 3 Sound Effects library is recorded using a large array of various microphone configurations, we recorded shots from several distances in an open shooting range in the Nevada Desert.

Weapon Information

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a modern submachine gun developed by Česká Zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB). Since its introduction in 2009, it has gained favor among military and law enforcement agencies for its compact size, high rate of fire, and modular design. The weapon features a 7.7-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and operates using a direct blowback mechanism. Its fiber-reinforced polymer frame contributes to a light weight of 6.1 lbs, with an overall length of 26.4 inches extended or 16.5 inches with stock folded.

Key features include: Modular design for extensive customization, Ambidextrous controls for left- and right-handed operation, Folding and adjustable stock for enhanced portability, High rate of fire for effective suppression, Multiple Picatinny rails for tactical accessories, Non-reciprocating charging handle, Standard 20 or 30-round magazines.

Raw Recordings

Our raw shots features a total of 26 channels including 12 Stereo and 2 mono sources. All of our close and mid spaced pair Microphone options can be used as two independent mono microphones. The right side of every spaced pair will have more Mech than its left side counterpart.

Every single gun has been recorded using the same gain settings on the same recorders, and we have level matched each microphone option between the same calibers so your 50ft microphones will be the same or similar across all libraries that share the same calibers. This makes mixing large amounts of weapons easier as the loudness and character of each gun is predictable.

Our foley features a total of 4 audio channels with 1 Stereo and 2 mono sources, including the Sanken CO-100k which captures frequencies above 100kHz for extreme pitch shifting workflows.

Building Blocks:
Our Building Blocks mixes are lightly designed assets which are specifically created to give you a jump start in designing your own gun shots if you don’t want to work with the raw assets.

Modern Mixes:
Inspired by some of our favourite games we’ve crafted an aggressive mix which not only includes a composit mix but also includes the individual layers (Shot, Mech, Tail, Atmo, & Trigger Pull).

Realistic Mixes:
We have also included 3 realistic mixes designed by our recordist so that you can hear exactly what this gun sounded like from the shooters prospective.

All Future Updates For Free

With the purchase of the Master Gun Armoury Bundle you will receive all base library updates for free which can include us recording new samples for the library, re-sampling the entire library with more microphones, new designed mixes, metadata updates, etc.

Why Deliver 32-Bit Float Shots?

There are several advantages in using 32Bit float recordings. One of which is having greater separation from the explosion of the gun and the mech. Because of this, you’ll be able to isolate the mech from each gun and bring out each guns unique characteristics.

32Bit Float files require a slightly different workflow than you might be used to. Other gun sample libraries that use 24 Bit recordings already come pre-compressed/clipped and will be louder than our libraries. when you are working with 32 Bit Float gun recordings you’ll need to compress/clip the recordings in order to get the same loudness.

Metadata

One of the most powerful features included in the Master Gun library is its extensive metadata and tagging. Every single field has been filled out. Every library is compatible with all major sound library management software including Sound Miner, Baeshead, Soundly, etc.

To take advantage of all the metadata features we do recommend using Sound Miner.
