The Sound Design team at DICE used a large selection of sounds included within the Master Gun Armoury Bundle to help shape the sound of the weapons in Battlefield 6.
We worked with DICE’s Sound Design team to introduce new microphone options they wanted for the Battlefield 6 release. The microphone options included both front and back ejection port microphones using attached DPA 4062s, multiple sets of Sennheiser 80 Series microphones placed at mid distances, as well as the introduction of the Sanken CO-100k microphone for all foley recordings.
